The KKU-CSEAS Conference on Rural Northeast Thailand in Transition: Land Use, Farming Systems and Households

The International Program on System Approaches in Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University, in collaboration with the Center for Southeast Asian Studies (CSEAS) of Kyoto University, is organizing “The KKU-CSEAS Conference on Rural Northeast Thailand in Transition: Land Use, Farming Systems and Households” on 16 September 2014.
Taking part in this conference are well-known scholars from Thailand, Japan, and the United States as well as graduate students from the KKU Faculty of Agriculture. The conference is divided into 4 sessions: Changes in land use and agriculture, rural households and communities, population ageing and health, and a final panel discussion by several noted scholars including Prof. Dr. Aran Patanothai, Prof. Dr. Fukui Hayao, Dr. Chai Podhisita, and Dr. Jefferson Fox.
The program will start at 8:30 am in Meeting Room No. 1, on the Second Floor of Building No. 8, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University.
